BOROSZLÁN NATURE TRAIL

Departing from 3 km of Bakonybél, from the former Gerencepuszta, the Boroszlán Nature Trail was establish by the Direction of Balaton-felvidék National Park on the Cser Hill’s and the Kőris Hill’ side.

The nature trail starts at the car park in front of Hotel Odvaskő, from the tourist centre of the Gerence Valley, at an altitude of 240 m. The 7 km long trail climbs up on a steep slope and flat plateaus to the top level of Kőris Hill about 540 m above sea level and then descends in the Öreg-Szarvad Valley to the car park.

The short cut version of the 7 km long trail is 2 km: it turns back from Odvaskő Cave via a stairway to the valley, from where you can reach the starting point with a short walk. Along the walking road established on the Kőris Hill side, visitors can find out more about the area’s natural assets due to the 8 information boards.

A professional guide can be requested to the circular nature trail, which can be freely visited. It can be approached from the Odvaskő stop between Bakonybél and Bakonykoppány.

Advanced appointment and written order are required at least two weeks before the tour!
