8420 Zirc, Kossuth Lajos út 54-56.
The small church was built in 1740. The church was renovated between 1761 and 1763. It was enlarged in 1780 and thus gained its present form. The church has one aisle, the sanctuary has a straight closure and the vaults are spherical. According to the assumptions, its wooden gallery leans on the rock columns of the Romanesque church found in its surroundings. The Pieta statue in the sanctuary has a unique value; there are only few similar statues in the world. The inner architectural and visual art values of the small church need to be restored. Near the church, we find the statue of John of Nepomuk from 1729, which is a protected monument.
