NÁDASDY ARBORETUM OF ALSÓPERE

NÁDASDY ARBORETUM OF ALSÓPERE

The Nádasdy family, which owned a great estate in the East Bakony, have built a hunter mansion and established an English garden because of the beauty and the abundance of wild animals of this area.

After the management of the park was assigned to the VERGA Zrt., they began to renovate the park.

In the autumn of 2013, a new visitor centre was inaugurated, the Nádasdy Arboretum was renewed and the area was enriched with an open-air stage and a hunting chapel.

Access: Four kilometres south-east of Olaszfalu we reach Felsőperepuszta on a public on. Alsópere is located three kilometres from there.

The Nádasdy Park can be reached by car on a public road right up to Alsópere, where a map board introducing the park and a belfry is waiting for the visitors.
